Belgian Aeroplane might have lost one wing but Vito De Luca is sure flying by himself. On July 5th he will be releasing the first single (digital download out today) from the eagerly anticipated LP through Wall of Sound. The full album is due September 6th. Since the Essential Mix on Radio 1, where Aeroplane dropped the track for the first time, the extended drums mix has been going around the blogs. Now the Radio Edit is here. Is it reggae? Aeroplane feels like an artist that been in the business forever yet the upcoming album is his debut. With stunning remixes on Lindström, Friendly Fires and most recently Breakbot he’s done the ground work. Now with a bunch of original tracks it’s time for one the moste innovative electronic music producers to rule the world.
In short We Can’t Fly is a superb smooth, chilled out and totally awsome track that for sure will be major soundtrack for this summer. Hang out, drink beer and watch the sunset. Aeroplane can fly!
