Recently I’ve been discovering a lot of new music. Well at least new in the sence that I haven’t heard it before. And well the music isn’t actually new but the artist is and the way they’re doing music is. One of my most recent discoveries is Yasumo, a duo hailing from Melbourne, Australia. Proclaiming them selfs as french house/disco funk I discovered them while scouting SoundCloud for new sounds. Yasumo are producing more mellow chilled out disco tracks like One Red Shoe and great bass driven dance tracks like Short Way Home. You can hear the influences of people like Chromeo in the more chilled out tracks and Duck Sauce in the more danceable. It’s not that unique but I tell you this duo has just started. I’m exicted to hear more in the time to come!
