This is our wake up call after a few days of no blogging at TAjT. There were elections for parliament in Sweden the day before yesterday and a racist party took place in our national assembly. So we had to go out on the streets and make some noise. But now it’s time some spread some damn fine music, because music, happy dancing and great beats is nothing those racists know anything about.
And we’re kicking of with a great new take on old school hiphop veterans De La Soul. Starting out in high school in the late 80’s this trio knows how to do hiphop. Lately we’ve heard them on Gorillaz album Platsic Beach and this new take on their 1991 single Ring Ring Ring is made by upcoming Australian producer Yasumo (who has been featured here).
